Part of cleaning up the garage is getting rid of the excess wood.
I cut up my old merbau bench top and ran half of it along with some nice chunks of spotted gum through the thicknesser at the woodwork club last week and hope to round over the edges to make breadboards to give away shortly.
There’s still some pine to finish the wall cabinets, and the plank for the competition at the woodwork club that I need to do something with very soon.
Once I get these big pieces used up I’ll try and start on the offcuts and make small boxes out something to get it out of the way.
After that, I’ll only store enough wood for the project I’m working on, otherwise it takes up to much space.
